@Nikaela Walsh start with short sessions (30 seconds to 2 minutes) and gradually increase. Listen to your body, as factors like stress and sleep can affect tolerance. Consistency with shorter, more frequent plunges is usually more beneficial than infrequent, extreme ones. The most important part- listen to your body! Find that sweet spot where you are stretching your capacity without overwhelming your system.

@Sarah Vane as women we can have huge benefits from it being 10-15 degrees. We don't need it as cold as men to gain from the plunge. Late luteal (premenstrual) can be even warmer as we often would be more sensitive to the cold.
