Hi guys!! How's everyone doing? Are you ready for the holiday season? What field of work are you in and how will this affect you?

Hi Barbie! I guess I am in the arts/hospitality? Lol hopefully folks will start to purchase experiences(workshops/classes) as holiday gifts instead of tangible/seasonal items. Trying to be consistent with social media marketing at the same time. What about you? What’s holiday season mean when you own a brick& mortar?

Marketing... You either love it or hate it.
Marketing takes up time, requires much thought, planning, and creativity. Marketing leaves you wondering if the reel you've spent four hours editing is going to get appropriate views for your business. Marketing can suck. There, I said it. However; Marketing is vital and is a necessity for your business. So, if you're like many people who do not to show your faces on camera, promoting services or goods....it's time to do some quick reflection and....GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE. Once you get past your stage fright, marketing is actually really fun. As business owners, you can post anything you want. You can talk about why YOUR services ranks above your local competitors. You can simply post an appetizing photo of your food with the caption: Come eat. As long as you're building traction online, you're marketing. Oftentimes, I KNOW businesses are wonderful. I KNOW their food is delicious. But.... no one else does. It's because they go radio silent online. As we all know, we are glued to our phones, laptops, and social media platforms. That's the best place to get your brand out. You no longer have to walk door-to-door to advertise your business. An online presence can reach far more than flyers can. But you have to put in the work. So, where do you begin? You've got 10 followers and no idea what to post. Simply start with an introduction. Tell your story. Share your passion through the screen. If you need help drumming up some ideas, let me know! I'm off to the kitchen this morning to work lunch rush....I'm so excited! It's been a hot minute since I've sweated or screamed in the walk-in. Haha. Have a great day!

Why Slow Seasons Are Crucial As an Entrepreneur
I know we ALLLL hate it when the bank account isn't cha-chinging the way we want or envisioned for our business. When seasons are fruitful, it's great! Not having to worry about whether we'd be able pay the bills, inventory, and/or labor. We go about our days continuing to hustle, create our products, provide our services, and life seems stable even through the chaos of being not taking breaks or remembering what day of the week it is. Ah, feeling aliveeeeee. ... then it all stops. We find ourselves with past due notices on utilities, the inventory is sitting on the shelf staring back at us, and doubt sets in. "Am I doing something wrong?" "Am I losing momentum?" "Do people not like my products or services anymore?" "WHERE IS EVERYBODY???!!" I have been there and I know I will be there again. Our character as entrepreneurs isn’t defined in the rush of success—it’s forged in the quiet of the slow seasons. When business slows down, when the phone stops ringing, and when progress feels invisible, that’s when our resilience is tested and refined. These seasons aren’t setbacks; they’re sacred pauses—opportunities to rebuild stronger systems, sharpen our vision, and remind ourselves why we started. True entrepreneurs don’t just endure the slow times—they use them to grow, adapt, and rise prepared for what’s next. Because character isn’t built when everything’s going right—it’s revealed when we choose to keep going anyway. My encouragement to you is... KEEP GOING. Do not give up when life hands you a list of hurdles and tribulations. This is where you amplify your skills, step outside your comfort zone, and realign yourself for an even greater comeback.

Hi! How are you all doing today? Do you have a pretty long agenda to get accomplished?

Getting ready for my pottery workshops and market! Trying to get as much glazing done as I can. Hand painting always takes so long but I would rather take my time to make something nice than rush and then make something I am embarrassed to sell 💀
Daily Value Topic #2 - WINNING
Winning doesn't always mean it has to be a huge accomplishment. Quite literally, if you got up an hour earlier than you normally do, that's considered a win. Why? Because a change in our normal routine to better ourselves will produce positive results if done with good intention. Sometimes as business owners, we strive to win at everything we do, but the reality of it is, we're constantly putting out fires, solving problems, negotiating better rates and deals to keep our profit margins at a reasonable amount (livable amount), etc. All the daily obligations may make us feel like lesser winners. So today, let's start with: WHAT'S YOUR WIN FOR TODAY? (You can totally do this at the end of the night when the day is done :) )

Thank you Barbie for checking in and have a good reminder to be kind especially the darker/harder the world gets. My win today would be I finally got some organizers to organize my art supplies. I really am not good at doing day-to-day type of organizing and I usually dread it. But at least I got the containers today and put some stuff away already! Hope everyone was having a decent day.
