Thank you everyone for being here! I love making friendships with strong women all over the world--something that would be way harder without technology. In a world full of electronics and screens, my well-being also craves in person connection where we can hug and fill each other's cups. Something that is more important to me in midlife despite being so busy. Do you feel the same? I'm overflowing with gratitude that our community now has regular in person meet-ups and workshops. I have a dream that we can expand our meetings to locations all over the world!

Ever hungover?
Participated in a golf tournament yesterday and in addition to beautiful Hawaii weather, fun (and patient) company, I also consumed a lot of alcohol. 2 bone broth sticks are helping to calm my gut and my nervous system. For the non-drinkers-kudos to you! For those who do consume alcohol, what are your tips?

@Melissa Boster I have to credit my husband for that one. He will sometimes do that for me along with a note that says to take these when you come home if he knows I am out partying and will probably drink too much. He can be thoughtful sometimes! šŸ˜…

45 minutes of walking 20 minutes of strength training with a mini yoga stretch at the end

I think it was a little bit of both! My body feels so much better after getting back into doing yoga almost daily. I really need the stretching. And doing it after a workout helps me cool down. I choose videos that are more about slow stretching, flexibility or mobility, and the focus on breathing helps to recenter and ground me.

Post your 10+ min of intentional movement here. Our bodies were meant to move ...and if we don't use it, we may lose it. The good news ... it's never too late to start moving our bodies-- in fact, our physiology craves it!

@Alyssa Furukawa Same approach you shared with all of us ladies here in your community, except change workout for cleaning - just have the motivation to start, and do what you can in the time you have! I only worked on my bathroom yesterday. (Plus I made my girls help by giving them a list and saying they couldn’t go to X unless everything on their list was done. Only works if they actually have somewhere they really want to go tho!)
