I DID IT!
Hello: Thought I'll share this with the whole group instead of just in the comment section of one of the group member. I had $500 sitting in my brokerage account with Charles Schwab and just yesterday I moved it to a SWPPX Charles Schwab S&P 500 Index Fund (no fees). I know it sounds like I know what I am talking about but I just learned this by watching the Wealth Twins videos. I couldn't worry about knowing it all (it's a lot) so I just started with learning how to start and then moved on it. The Index fund was best for me because I wanted to start at a low risk, low maintenance and stress free level and I did it! Charles Schwab agent walked me through it step by step until I completed my first transaction. I did specify I want to invest $500 long term, not trade and I wanted to buy Schwab S&P $500 Index fund to be clear cause it seems like everything was trying to default to trading (trying to do it without help). I had learned to stay away from trading and marginal until I knew what I was doing. The agents will not tell you how to invest (at east the one I had did not) so I had to know that to start. Hopefully this helps you to know you are not alone.
Too late to retire well
When you've waited too long to think about retirement and find it is 💥 boom right around the corner, do you begin investing at 0 to $25/month and keep working? I love my work, but I am now realizing I can't do it as long as I thought I could. 🤔 Need to make my money start to work for me at turbo speed. Suggestions appreciated.

I agree with Sharon. I had $500 sitting in my brokerage account with Charles Schwab and just yesterday I moved it to a SWPPX Charles Schwab S&P 500 Index Fund (no fees). Hopefully this helps you to know you are not alone. I am at retirement age and just learning how to invest but we are never to old to learn because what we learn now can be taught to the younger generation. Nothing wasted because life goes on even when we are no longer here.
