It's been a deep, soul searching week for me. My biggest lesson was that the time is now to stop relying on social media platforms to grow my business that focuses on high net worth, high-achieving, clientele.Strive for high security and ownership. So i shut down my first business path and changed course. Much more clear now.

I’ve heard many of these things before. I find these kinds of rigid dietary restrictions to not be sustainable for many of us, and there is a lot of conflicting science. My own cultural technologies around food make me feel healthy and great. I like a healthy amount of fat on my body, and my body sheds weight easily as long as I am eating in as much of an anti-inflammatory way as possible. We are an ingredient household so I cook most of what I eat. I’d say 80% of my meals are cooked at home and made from simple ingredients. I naturally consume mostly butter and animal fats for fat and a little Olive oil. We use grapeseed to season our cast iron skillets so that’s probably getting into my diet, but I’m willing to take that chance. I agree that many veggies are not really necessary for human consumption, and there is a reason my culture cooks things like Collard Greens the way we do for hours and hours until all the water is pulled from the greens. That water, we call “Pot likka” is medicinal in nature. Bread - mostly sourdough. Love Kimchi and Sauerkraut. Love stews full of long cooked root veggies and aromatics. Fruit- my body craves bananas and grapes, and I find my system responds well with them in my daily diet (without revealing too much of why lol) Anyway, all that being said. I listen to my body, and I feed it and my soul. I stay away from weight anxiety and obsession. I’ve been my healthiest living just a normal life. Walking a lot, cooking my food, sleeping well. But I think if someone thrives with rigidity try and cut these things out and see how you feel. But be honest about how they affect you. There is a reason some people thrive as Vegans and some people thrive on Keto or Paleo.

@Danielle Wright ahhh i understand. That makes sense. That’s why those extremes don’t make sense to me. They seem to do more damage than good (as you’ve seen with your clients). My mom has Lupus and my family is a heart disease, diabetes, cancer family. I somehow am in near perfect health. It’s unfortunate, though because my last doctor was intent on treating me through weightloss when I actually found out the issue with my inflammation was allergies I never knew I had. Treated those and my inflammation and hormonal issues fixed themselves. It’s very sad the state of things with food.

If you could instantly speak one language for a day which one would you pick?......
If the language genie came to you and gave you the ability to speak any language for 24 hours which one would it be and why?
