The habit that changed my language learning
There is one habit that absolutely changed my language learning only for the better. This habit help me learn Spanish, French, Serbian and other language languages fluently And the Habit/Skill is……… Listening!!! If you think of a toddler or a baby before speaking a language here she spends two or three years just listening to how the vowels are formed how the pronunciation is and how to move the tongue and mouth. So a quick tip is that when you’re learning your language try and focus more on the listening in the beginning. Some things that you can listen to are: - Podcasts - Songs - Radio shows - Audiobooks - And more If you have any friends that want to learn a language, I’d be glad if you can invite them. This way, our community is gonna get larger and more interesting.⚡️🔥❤️

Introduce yourself! @Eugene Globe III is just some dude learning Spanish 😁 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐐𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐞: The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires. — William Arthur Ward I honestly think this is a VERY powerful quote especially for teachers and for students finding the right teachers. 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞: The most important thing when learning a language in the beginning is Exposure and immersion BUT if you don't have a notebook or a doc in which you can write that word or sentence down then it will leave ALSO there was a study done where they looked at memory and language acquisition and found out that languages learned without context get forgotten after hours SO learn words in phrases with context :) Exposure is HUGE! Immerse yourself in the language as much as possible and then connect that to a notebook and some form of instant output Wishing you all the best 🙌🏻❤️ Please share your takeaways and some little thoughts that you have.
How to ACTUALLY have fun when learning a new language?
A couple days ago Ruth made a post asking about the balance between fun and discipline and since I talk a lot about efficiency, effectiveness and simplicity I thought I might talk a bit about making the language learning process fun and enjoyable First of all there are lots of different ways to have fun when learning a language But in the end the best way to classify them is by input and output Fun input - Watching a show or movie in your target language depending on your level you can watch it with subtitles or without. Also a cool way to track your comprehension is just watching a show and seeing how much you understand - Listening and watching content in that target language. Some fun YouTubers or videos - Crosswords - This is actually kind of a mix of output and input because when you do it you look at something but you also can create output by using the words and creating sentences - Also listening to comedy shows in your target language is also amazing Fun Output - Language roulette - This is pretty much where you find a random word site and just find some random words and make stories, write something or create sentences from these advanced sentences - StorySpeaking - This is pretty much where you record yourself telling a story based on a prompt or some real life scenario in your real life and then check yourself for mistakes and improve. This is GREAT and super underrated. - Talking to objects and to yourself. I think this pretty self  AND I am adding this all and making it customised in the language learning Blueprint V4 See if you qualify for 3 months of free training here Peace and Love Y'all :) PS: I am making some big changes to the community and might need your help but more on that tmrw

We will be yapping about building your daily language OS (operating system) to build a consistent schedule and finding the highest ROI tasks. This was last weeks call Also if you want to learn a language in 4-6 months click here NOW Time fur da Daily Quote and value nugget... hmm... gotta think.... There is a super cool dude named Dostoyevski (i think) and here is his thoughts on communication which I think is also language learning.... anyways I think its super interesting 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐐𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐞: Misunderstanding and communicative inadequacy lie at the root of much human suffering. — Fyodor Dostoevsky Next quote will be from Benjamin Franklin 😉 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐍𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐭: DONT FLIPPIN CRAM UR PRACTICEEE and make it different and unique !! Ok now lets make this a little more practical and deep... Heres an example: Piano teacher had 2 groups of cool students Group A practiced 1 piece for an hour, Group B practiced 4 pieces 15 minutes each after a month B stronger learning, The struggle of switching contexts and retrieving partially forgotten material enhanced retention Interleaving topics strengthens the differencing between similar topics Massed practice produces short term results that creates the illusion of learning while failing to produce lasting knowledge Spaced practice feels harder at first but creates memories that last for years Your brain learns more from multiple short sessions spread over time than 1 marathon session The forgetting that happens between isn’t an enemy it’s a necessary part of strengthening memory This approach directly contradicts common practice. Most students mass their practice (cramming), which produces rapid short-term gains that create the illusion of learning while failing to produce durable knowledge.
