How do you spend your Sunday?
It's storming and raining here, it will be an indoor day sadly. Like every Sunday I will make the Pins for all Premium members. I've tested out to advertise 2 pins 2 days ago. On the first day they got already 20.000 views and 80 click throughs to the website. Not sure how to use this in the best way yet, but I'll have a brainstorm over it. Also, there's more going on 🙃 Who wants to guess? 😅 And what are you doing this Sunday?

I started the day off with a really good morning routine and a little bit too much coffee, and then I went and got some sunshine on my face and then jumped into work. I have one networking call in an hour, and then I'm going to meet a new friend for a meal. I made a connection with this beautiful Greek lady yesterday, and she invited me to her house because she's having a little get-together. So we'll see what happens there. I'm also planning to go paddleboarding later today, assuming I can still get all my work requirements finished. But I'm already having a great day.

@Mindy Molein I'm sure you are getting a lot done too...plus it is raining.
How many of your members posted or commented this week? 👀
Be honest, no judgment here. Tell us in the comments: 1️⃣ How many members you have 2️⃣ How many of them posted or commented this week I’ll go first in the comments. If your number is low, you’re not alone. A quiet community is one of the most common things I see, and it can be fixed. A lot of community owners are experiencing this proble. So starting Monday, October 26, we’re doing a free 5 day challenge: 💬 Get Your Members Talking One small task a day, about 15 to 30 minutes, done in your own community. For the first 10 of you that finish all 5 days: 🎥 I will make a short personal video where I look at your community and give you tips to get more engagement 🔥 Want to join? Comment “I’m in” below, and I’ll tag you when day 1 goes live 🙂

@Mindy Molein Well, I feel like part of it is just me getting lucky because I sometimes feel like I still have no idea what I'm doing. But I do think there is a structure, and I'm really happy that people feel comfortable there, especially that they've started to post on their own. Building it thus far has shown me what it could potentially become, and I didn't have that vision before, so that's pretty amazing.

@Mindy Molein Yes, I have a much brighter future in mind. And it's definitely worth waiting for.
I joined a new community..
Yesterday I joined a new community. When I woke up this morning, I saw I was accepted and I've got an automated welcome DM. A looooooong welcome DM. Like a chapter of a book with all instruction what I 'asap' needed to do and what I need to all click. My curiosity was triggered 😅 Having a look at the community, there is no Pinned Post to welcome anyone. So I hopped over t the classroom.. All classrooms were locked for Premium members. ALL of them. Never felt more welcome 🤔 How do you want to be welcomed in a new community? What is the ideal set up to make you feel welcome?

@Mindy Molein Right, that would be awkward. It's kind of a set-it-and-forget-it situation, but don't actually forget it, depending on where you're at with that client. Yeah, there's no real easy answer for that, especially with a lot of members. You're going to have to go with what's the best coverage for that many people versus how many individual conversations you are actually having. Maybe you can consciously turn those off for certain people, but I do feel like it's generally a good thing to reach everybody with the same messaging. But yeah, do so with caution.

@Mindy Molein I WAS using Skooly. but I am currently without automation. I'm looking into Panda. Right now the thought of another monthly fee just gives me hives...

@Johanna Vaudran Oh, you're not bothering me at all. I love talking to awesome people. And I think that the original Cordon Bleu schools are still great. They haven't changed. It's just the charter schools seem to have slightly different standards, namely a little bit lower, and I just didn't think that was a good thing. But it's not really to say that you can't get a good culinary education there, because any school, like I said, is largely what you make of it. And if your son wants to talk about culinary school, being a chef, or a career in the culinary world, I'm available to have a chat. I'm happy to do that. And if he's ever considered a career as a personal chef, I can talk to him about that too, because that's another option.

@Johanna Vaudran yes in my community. And I'm going to start doing some IRL stuff. I've been looking for some strategic partnerships in my locale where I can do some events and promote some programs. But I spent 20 years as a chef and nutritionist, creating healthy meals for people with a different menu each week. The whole mission of the company was to figure out what the intersection of delicious and healthy looked like and make it seasonal: 90% local, organic, fresh, healthy, and delicious. So when it came to Skool, I just tried to translate that into digital as best I could, and there you go. There's my community.

UPDATE: it's confirmed through a mail 👇 I just read somwhere that Skool News tomorrow would announce Freemium groups will not be getting ads. I must admit I had my hopes up since we have over 2000 visitors to this group here. Who more here has a Freemium group that is level 2 in Boost?
