Ok i have some ideas for future things to do that i want to run by you all!! First the live calls obviously it been a bit since we did one i do apologize but I've been slammed so I figured we could try something else like. A Saturday garage take over. We could get on a live call but hang out in the garage work on projects have friends on or spouses employees what ever have a beer or 6 what ever you want to do. ill probably be working on some side projects of my own. Second would be SKOOL games. This is where i want to encourage everyone to participate more. So as you know there are levels to skool if you comment and post a lot your point go up. But it gives me a 7 day and 30 day leader board where I can see tallies on how much you participate and i can do winners to receive tool gifts from me. So let me know your thoughts id like to start the lives this weekend on Saturday

Does anyone offer monthly maintenance subscription's?
I’ve been working on an idea to offer monthly maintenance subscriptions, I’m trying to build it so I won’t have to rely on upsells to make it profitable and can still provide value to the customer. I’ve been working on this idea for a couple days and obviously it would take a lot of fine tuning and testing worst case scenarios before I get it where I need it. I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen anything like this or offer this themselves? I’ve mostly only seen shops offer this kind of thing because their cost is so low.

I would imagine everyone’s monthly subscription would be based on the vehicle they’re driving, and the services they wish to be provided monthly. Also would consider the use of the vehicle and the mileage accumulated monthly might vary the price too.

@Brenden Mobley I imagine a kind of survey multi step question walk through, asking questions and then would give them recommended packages for their type of vehicle and use, with extra selections/add-ons available with a total monthly subscription price on the preselected packages. This would help get you info on things like amount of fluids the vehicles takes and the recommended service periods to calculate a price it also puts the customer in control of what service they would like preformed so then it’s not on you when they say you didn’t do something because they decide what is done. I’m sure chat gpt could help you write you a program that works for this at that point it would be just trial error and working the kinks out. But you gotta start doing it to really figure out the problems you will see in real world situations. Maybe start by only offering 3-5 customers this monthly subscription to use a trial.
