Does anyone offer monthly maintenance subscription's?
I’ve been working on an idea to offer monthly maintenance subscriptions, I’m trying to build it so I won’t have to rely on upsells to make it profitable and can still provide value to the customer. I’ve been working on this idea for a couple days and obviously it would take a lot of fine tuning and testing worst case scenarios before I get it where I need it. I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen anything like this or offer this themselves? I’ve mostly only seen shops offer this kind of thing because their cost is so low.

@Bruce Oliver monthly inspection and oil change if needed, fluid top offs, I’m not trying to avoid upsells I just don’t want to build the plan to where I have to sell them to make money. Plan would also come with priority scheduling, small discount per labor hour. Was working on what else I could do to add value, it would ideally be for customers that drive enough to get a monthly oil change or those that are worried about having consistent inspections performed.

Just thinking of it in a way of the customer having someone on their side to help them prevent any breakdowns on the vehicle before they happen.
How does this post get interaction but my posts are largely unnoticed?
No hate whatsoever, but I post consistently with pictures of the truck with branding and past work, and a quick message about the business. Is posting your labor rate that powerful or is this just because the low price? I’m not jealous at all because I know at that price they can’t be running a legal business or at least not for long, I just want to know if I’m making my posts wrong or something? I will add pictures of my posts in the comments.

@Justin Bond I hate to even talk about it, it just sucks people end up going through people like them not knowing any better and end up getting robbed or their car getting messed up.

@Jason Staub id love to see it done on a 16 odyssey for that price 😂 timing belt driven
Any tips for when you finally catch traction?
Weird question, I know—but business has always gone up and down since I started. This time feels different though. Since updating my website and business pages, I’ve had a strong and consistent uptrend in work. For those who’ve been in this position, do you have any tips on managing workload and preventing overload? I know proper planning is key—I just haven’t been in this situation before and want to stay proactive.

@Ben Dellaria great advice, if I get consistent then I could definitely tighten up my hours of operation too.

@Bruce Oliver that’s a great idea! I’ve never thought about pre filling a notepad, I always get frazzled when the phone rings on the job so I leave out important questions sometimes
This Weeks Live
This weeks live is not fully out of the question so keep watching to calendar. Thursday and Friday are my only days this week to edit and record the podcast. So I may or may not have time to get on a call this Thursday night

My apologies for missing the last few calls. I’ve been so focused the past few weeks I’m honestly kind of shocked.
Am I crazy for asking for basic information?
The picture speaks for itself. Apparently this guy is also in Atlanta Georgia which is 5-6 hours from me

@Jay Rodriguez I really just needed a general location and number or email to send the quote to, but in order for him to be able to accept the work which is what matters for me I legally have to have his name on the quote

Let me clarify, the way my software works I have to have an email or phone number to send out the quote, if I build a quote and have to send someone a picture of it I know I’m not getting that job. That’s just been my experience
