Just some encouragement
I wanted to come on here and tell everyone that you are doing better than you think. This is becoming a more full community, and it's really nice that I don't see any negative judgment or negative criticism on here. It's refreshing. I hope everyone is doing well. I am in the Jan 5 or 6 cohort, and I am feeling the pressure. But overall, I feel really good about everything. Keep pushing and don't forget to be kind to yourself.

Follow up
Ok this is an update on my prompt engineering experiment. I asked the ai to name its self. It choose a name. Then do to its lack of modular design it reached into memory and put together a persona. Me and my assistant formulated questions to expose this persona.

What is the biggest challenge you’re facing in this project? I’m working on my very first program and knowing where to start proved to be the biggest hurdle for me.

I think so - it’s the principle of creating code as modules so that, if one thing breaks or needs updating, it doesn’t impact the rest of the modules, right?

Jan Cohort, laptop update
I just got an email from FedEx with a shipping label from Maestro to me dated for Monday. It is THEIR label with boiler plate directions for printing, putting on the package, and arranging for pickup. Hopefully that is just their way of alerting students of shipment.... and w00t! My laptop is coming.
