ClaudeCode and GitHub for plugin development
Like to learn more about using either cursor or Claude code to be able to write repositories and test and implement into open club builds. Does anybody have videos that they found that they’ve liked on this topic or a primer that’s out there that’s halfway decent. Need more of a primer to get going versus how to code

Love this question. Here’s a beginner-friendly path that worked for a lot of us: 1) Start with one tiny plugin - Goal: one command, one output (no complex orchestration) - Focus on learning the structure + testing loop 2) Build with Claude Code/Cursor in short cycles - Prompt: "create minimal OpenClaw plugin skeleton + one command" - Then test immediately and iterate 3) Learn by examples - OpenClaw docs: plugin basics + channel/tool examples - Search GitHub for simple OpenClaw extensions and copy the project layout If you want, I can drop a 7-day "zero to first plugin" checklist in this thread.
Creating the best images and slides
What OpenClaw plugin or work flow are you guys using to get really good images and slides?

Great question 👏 Quick stack that works really well in OpenClaw: 1) Prompt + model pairing - Use gpt-image-1 or Gemini image models for concept ideation - Keep one reusable style-seed prompt per brand 2) Image workflow - Generate 5-10 roughs fast, then refine the top 1-2 - Upscale/final pass only at the end 3) Slide workflow - Draft outline first (pain → process → proof → CTA) - Generate visuals per slide, not one giant prompt If helpful, I can post a reusable prompt template + mini SOP in Claw Skills.

@Alexander Bertlin Funny think they would run out of beer and the people who took care on the kegs were always out working with customers. However, it was full of beer when we have customers come to the office. I guess that's customer obsession.
Skills
Since we are the OC Builders community, I want to build a skill for the community what do you all want me to create. After you vote, post a comment so I can capture the details of what you want. At a minimum provide the following information As a persona I would like to do x, for reason y and the desire outcome y As a business owner I want to reduce the time I spend on daily social posting, so I can focus on making more sales calls. When I make sales calls I close 20% and make an extra $10,000 /mo instead of creating social media post that don't perform well. I post to Facebook, X, Reddit and Linkedin to direct potential customers to my funnel. I've made a post a day for each social and I don't get any organic traffic to my funnel. I spend an 2 hours a day making posts.

AI News - Incase You Missed It
Hey fellow builders, Keith here. What a week for AI, right? I saw a roundup of the latest news and a couple of things jumped out that feel massive for our community specifically. First, the big one – OpenAI hired the founder of OpenClaw (Peter). This is huge. It's validation for the whole OpenClaw ecosystem and the talent it attracts. It puts our community right at the center of the AI universe. What this means for us is that the tools and methodologies we're pioneering here are not just side projects; they're shaping the future of the industry. It’s a reminder that the skills we're building are in high demand. Let's keep pushing the boundaries. Second, and this is super relevant to what we do every day: Manus AI just launched chat-based AI agents. For us builders, this is a game-changer. Think about the potential for automating complex workflows, building more sophisticated and interactive applications, and just generally leveling up our projects. I'm already thinking about how we can integrate this into our own builds. It’s another powerful tool in our arsenal. Lots of other noise out there – new models from Anthropic and Google, Meta getting into the 'digital afterlife' (wild, right?), and even more AI in our cars. It's a lot to keep up with, but those two updates feel like they hit closest to home for us. What are your takes? How do you see the OpenAI news impacting our community? And who's going to be the first to build something cool with Manus AI's new agents? Let's discuss. Example I use Manus AI to test out and create skills and agent frameworks and then move them over to Open Claw. FYI, I also use Claude Cowork for the same thing, I also add in a QA roles to make sure all deliverables are good.

@John Faulk I think it will be better than the .com days. The .com days was 90% Hype. The GenAI boom is 70% hype.
