Fridays Are Special..... Or what?
Hey guys, I want to share a little secret. When I have something difficult to do or something very important, I usually do those things on Fridays. Meaning, I'm usually in a more jovial spirit because the weekend is coming, and I get to do fun stuff and hang out. The is the same case for people at work as well. When I need to do something hard or difficult or that I need extra energy for, personally, I'm in a better spirit that day. I remember when I worked in a corporate office, Friday was casual day. That's when we could come in in jeans and without a tie. That put a different spirit on the whole environment. If you have something that's hard to do or very important to get a good answer from, I say give Friday a try. You Don't want to do too late in the day on Friday, though, because people want to get the hell out of there! SO...Keep that in mind. Hopefully, this inspired you to do something important or difficult on a Friday that you may have had trouble doing earlier in te week. Just make sure you put a big smile on your own face first....then make that call. Let me know what you think. PS. Some of you know that I organized parties for a living back in the day...... So when I did my parties, I did my Parties on Fridays too, and very successfully so. Because guess what? I preempted all the others. Most people would do the parties on Saturday, so doing my parties on Friday not only did I catch the good spirit of Friday, but I made sure that they came to my party before they went to theirs.

Day 2
Task: To each sentence from Day 1 add some information on what your clients do to get what they want (this is usually the wrong thing). The thing might be: - Wrong advice that everyone is spreading - Common knowledge that is wrong or only works in specific situations - Good advice applied in the wrong way Paste your sentences + the additional information in the comments ๐Ÿ‘‡ If you're using the tracker, check off your day here. When you're done, move on to Day 3. โš ๏ธ Find my examples in the first comment๐Ÿ‘‡

Sounds too simple, right? But after organizing over 500 events in San Francisco, I can tell you MOST people don't do it. They talk about throwing parties. They plan. They dream. They make excuses. But they don't SHOW UP consistentlyโ€ฆ. Showing up means going to that networking event even when you're tired. Following up with that venue owner even when they haven't responded. Throwing that next party even when the last one was rough. In nightlife and in business, CONSISTENCY beats talent every time. The people who last aren't the most skilled. They're the ones who KEEP SHOWING UP when everyone else quits. One of my early mentors told me: "Half the battle is just being there." He was right. โ€ฆ.๐ฌ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฐ ๐ฎ๐ฉโ€ฆ.
