@Antawn Knight I can give you countless examples of just showing up, how it changes everything. It changes how you feel about yourself. It changes everything about what you learn, who you meet, and the aftereffects of that. The list goes on and on and on. Give me one example of how that changed everything for you. Just start thinking about it: - Was it that one meeting that you showed up to, where you happened to meet a special person that could help you in some way? - Or even where you got to help somebody, and how that made you feel? Give me some examples of how that's changed the trajectory for you. I can start. One time I wanted to get into a university in San Francisco, and I hadn't even applied to attend the university, I was even from another country. But I just said, "Let's go down there and see what I can find out." As I was walking up the stairs to the third floor of the Business and Marketing department, I met a guy coming down the stairs. He looked like he was one of the teachers there, because he was certainly a lot senior to everyone else around. I just looked up and asked him, "Hey, where's the marketing department located?" He said, "What are you looking to do?" I replied, "Oh, I'm a foreign student. I just want to see how I can apply to get into the university." He turned around in the stairs and said, "Why don't you come with me?" So he walked me into his office, and I saw on his desk that it said "Associate Dean." Basically, I met the number two guy at the Skool .... then He did something that was amazing for me: he helped me get into any classes that I wanted and got me started on my career in a very untraditional way! I'm sure you have situations where things have just worked out for you too because you showed up. Please tell me your story too. I'm very eager to hear it.
