Hi everyone. I am Rick and I am new to all of this. I was inspired by the one day course, and I am really looking forward to the boot camp in August in Brentford.

Charlie and I had a fabulous professional conversation today, on 30 June 2025, at 11:15 am regarding the whole package and Training I have been through the Service Accommodation bootcamp Training conducted by Mr. Phill and Mr. Ola from 25 June to 27 June 2025. Both Trainer were wonderful, kind and very professional. During our conversation with Charlie, we had discussed a lot of about Asset for Life property business strategies. Charlie explained to me professionally and diligently how you go through a Training session and acquire a substantial amount of knowledge and experience in achieving a property management strategy portfolio. Charlie also a fabulous sort of human being. He is down to earth in treating clients with a professional manner and due diligence. Bless him !!.

Hey Everyone! I did do a quick short note of introduction, this one is going to be a bit more detailed: Thanks to Charlie, who brilliantly guided me through the system with his fantastic energy on how to move forward with getting on board and communicating with everyone... I have always wanted to understand and be a part of the group that has taken the lead in acquiring and managing property and investment, Charlie kindly reassured me that it will be possible, especially when and after I've attended the Serviced Accommodation Bootcamp. So, I am really looking that and meeting with the group. At this moment in time I'm looking to invest all my energy and time to learning about assets and property. I have spent large part of my time in the past in teaching. I'm not working at the moment which I see as being a good thing so I can wholeheartedly devote time to learn and dive into property investment etc.

I am very excited to be joining the AFL community again. I want especially to thank Charlie for helping me through the bookings, payments and helping me out when I was unsure. I’m really looking forward to working with him. I’m excited for the experience and challenge over the next few months. I know Charlie will be by my side to help me succeed.

Wow what a week….. 🤩 To start with we spent a few days away in the Isle of Wight at the festival with friends. Saw so many amazing bands it was one heck of a weekend for music.. and maybe a beverage or two 🤭 However, on the property side we wanted a pipeline and movement, well we have it!! Oxford House is in legals and keys due anytime and can’t wait to get started. We have decided to retain and run as a short term let property 👏 (4 month project) Derelict House we offered on was accepted Weds with a refundable deposit of just 10% subject to planning! What a result, the power of feeling in control and all that!!! 💪 (14 months project) We are going through the motions of purchasing a new build project where the previous investors left the contractors high and dry. Means we can get a great price for the started project but the end result and GDV means huge returns… another great result and the power of negotiation and confidence. 👌 (6 month project) Never thought I would say we have purchased a funeral home … but we have!!! 🫣🤭🤩 to covert to 9 apartments. This is a Blue Plaque building listed, so just a few hoops have been scrambled through by the our power team to sort this. Final plans to be submitted. And get this, we have managed to agree a Lease Option and pay on exit at an unbelievable price. 🏆😃 (2 year project) And finally, the Grade II listed commercial site in Banbury, we have the final meeting on Tuesday so add data to the offer then we go to offer. 🤞(2 year project) Something Rob said earlier this week “Here we go fasten your seatbelts we are about to take off”. This will all be about planning and making sure we build in contingencies to allow for delays in build etc. But we have such a strong and willing power team and the due diligence they are putting in and questions they are asking to ensure we get a tax relief where we can, SDLT relief where we can and building high end but at cost because of how we’ve agreed the project set ups and relationships.
