This morning I had the sweet honor of guest speaking at CSU San Marcos EXTENDED LEARNING about VoiceOver acting. Still kinda sitting in gratitude about it… because moments like this feels so full circle. To be sought out not just to “talk,” but because of my experience, miles in the booth, lessons learned the hard way, and years of real-world voice acting work again? That hits different. I didn’t walk in as “the expert.” I walked in as a working artist sharing the truth: 🎙️ what it takes 🎙️ what it costs 🎙️ what it gives back 🎙️ and how to build a sustainable creative career Just passing the mic forward the way so many generous humans did for me. If even one student left thinking, “Wait… I could actually do this too,” then the whole morning was worth it. Grateful. Grounded. Still a student myself. And proud that our little 😻 VO trailblazer community keeps opening doors like this.
