Hey Voice Over Vollies, I wanted to be real with you all for a moment. I’ve taken a couple of mental health days recently to refocus and realign. Sometimes we need to step back to move forward with clarity, and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing. Part of that process meant making a really difficult decision: I’m putting my animated short ASSASSINISTA on pause while we re-work what that commitment looks like. This wasn’t easy, but it’s the right call for where I am right now. Here’s what hasn’t changed: my commitment to THIS community and its growth. You all are the reason I’m here, and I’m not going anywhere. So I’m asking you to stick around with me. Keep engaging, keep asking questions, keep making characters, and most importantly—keep expressing YOUR VOICE. That’s what this is all about. Our 2nd Meet & Greet + Workout Session went down and whew — it was SUCH a good one. We had three beautiful humans show up and show OUT, and honestly? Small rooms = big growth. Every time. This week we worked scenes and emotional beats from Inside Out and y’all… It was fantastic, fun, engaging, playful, honest, stretchy, actor-y in all the best ways — all the things we love about this craft. We explored: 🎙 character choices 🎙 emotional switches 🎙 ensemble energy 🎙 and how to make animation acting believable Huge shoutout to @ Brandon Haynes @ Rebecca Bautista @ Charles Alexander Thank you for bringing your talent, your openness, and your “let’s play” energy.
