Hello everyone👋 My name is Chanelle, I am a first time author writing a memoir. Im a domestic violence survivor, and a single mother who was raised by young single mother. My book is about generational trauma, addiction, religious trauma, DV, s*xual assault, the struggles of single motherhood, and finding yourself in the healing. Im in the process of editing my first draft at 85,000 words, and adding in final touches. I would love to find critique partners, and beta readers to give me some feedback! My goal is to start the querying process by January 2026, as Im aiming to be traditionally published. Im so happy I found this community and Im excited to get to know you all 🙂
