I have heard mixed reviews about using AI to cold call to set sales appointments. I talked to an insurance agency that says they are going to setup an AI cold calling campaign to businesses to set appointments with businesses to talk about their insurance benefits. Other people have told me not to use AI to cold call. I am currently using a power dialer called prospect boss to cold call businesses. It can call 3 numbers at once. I am really curious how AI cold calling can compare to this. I have access to vapi AI. it looks like it will cost 10 cents a minute to call. My goal is to set appointments with business owners to talk to them and their employees about their benefits and retirement.
