Hi everyone, My name is Chance and I am a Systems Designer who is working towards landing their first role in the industry. I am currently looking to form new connections, and try to be more active within our game dev community. I definitely struggle with networking! I often find it intimidating, and struggle to find the right way to convey my message. I'd love to give feedback to others on their work, and receive as much feedback as possible on my own. @Jakub Kalus Hi Jacob! Getting ghosted stinks, I keep track of all the jobs I apply for and it feels like at least 60% you'll hear nothing from and another 20% are automated emails. My best advice is to keep pushing through and applying. When you do eventually get written emails, or even automated rejection emails make sure you are replying to them. I've been making a real effort to try to ask for advice/feedback through these rejection emails. I rarely hear anything back, but when I do it's not only encouraging but incredibly helpful.
