Press on pricing
Hey guys I need some advice I’m starting up a press on business connected to my main business to fill in a bit of free time. I do a lot of free hand detailed art as well as 3D what sort of pricing do you think is fair would you recommend doing a price tier based on how detailed the sets are? Attached are a few I have some so fair let me know what you think.

@Nicky MacLean the one thing I’m really struggling with is know how much to charge I don’t feel 100% comfortable charging top tier just yet but I also don’t want to rip myself off as well. I just don’t know what price point to kinda start off with the ones I put in the og post I charged $50 as they where practice sets to see if my sizing kits worked and if the nails still sat well after being painted

@Nicky MacLean yes they did they were all custom sets. I think I'm probably leaning more towards custom sets
3D chrome
I'd love to know how we are sealing in 3D chrome to avoid chipping but also while keeping the 3D look?
3D chrome

For 3d chrome I will do my design with 3d gel that works with chrome and then do one lot of chrome. Then I will use a non wipe top coat just the design and seal that but also do another layer of chrome. Then I topcoat the whole nail but try and remove to much extra topcoat from around the design so you don’t lose the 3D. Doing this insurances that if the top chips or scratches you have another layer under I also like to add a similar colours to the chrome into the gel to make it’s less noticeable as well I hope this helps a little?

Any tips for hand painted Nail Stickers?
I just got into creating my own nail stickers at home, does anyone have tips for which products to create thin layers, making fine detailed lines, or can share resources to help me in my process? My biggest issues I need resolved is getting dark thin lines and making them durable enough not to fold on themselves but thin enough to mold to the nail with ease. Any tips or tricks will help thanks!

I used the sticker method when I did this wiggles set for the logo I used my iPad and reversed the image in procreate. Then I used a clear nail form stick and stuck it to my screen Apple has a way that you can freeze a portion of your screen so it makes it so much easier to use. I used patting gel because it’s thicker and easier to get crisp lines. I went in and did the writing first and then flash cured and then did the back ground and then fully cured both sides in my lamp after taking the clear sticker off the screen. I keep the layers really thin. Then I wiped the sticky layer off and sealed it in a little box until I needed it. I then just used some thin tweezers to peel it off and used a semi cured base coat to hold it while I used some cling wrap to keep it smooth while I did a full cure and then base coated over top of it after and it was perfect you couldn’t tell I didn’t paint it directly onto the nail. Hope this helps x
