Convex Nails
I had a client attend today with half of her nail bending downwards. How can I best structure this for her for a more "natural" look that maintains nail health and strength?

I'd love to know how we are sealing in 3D chrome to avoid chipping but also while keeping the 3D look?

Where do you spend the most time? ā°
A lot of nail techs struggle with the idea of "I'm too slow". But I think this is relative to the quality you are providing. So let's have a chat: Where are you spending most of your time during a service? I'm going to time myself today and put my time stamps in the comments as well, and I invite you to do the same, so we can compare and talk about it šŸ’›

I timed myself the other day and I was finding I was spending about 30mins on each step. Which I don't mind, as I prefer a slower approach so I can ensure nail care, my clients appreciate it too. Nail Art can take longer depending on what im doing
Removal of sets
I'd love to know how long it takes everyone to do a full soak off. Currently it's taking me an hour, which feels sooo long, but then to protect nail health I think it's not too bad? I feel I'm comparing myself to chop shops at the moment, but any advice would help ā™” It always makes me nervous when I have to do a fresh 'gelx' set. 15 mins - use efile to debulk 90% product on 1 hand and apply acetone foils 15 mins - soaking one hand whilst debulking other and applying acetone foils 30mins - pushing product off, buffing natural nail and tidying up cuticles, length and reshaping. Thank you šŸ¤

@Galaxy Cg Thank you so much for this comment! I've definitely improved as I feel more confident in using my efile to debulk, but I still get worried about going so close to the natural nail, though I feel I leave 10% product. I'm just not sure if I'm overthinking it šŸ˜… To me 15mins doesn't seem too bad, as I dont like to rush and appear frantic when doing nails anyway. I like to keep the atmosphere relaxed. But when doing a removal to reprep for gelx it just is too long šŸ˜…šŸ™ƒ Anyways, there is my brain dump šŸ˜…šŸ¤£šŸ¤

Im so glad I asked! It definitely seems like 45-60mins is a normal time for a removal. I feel like this needs to be normalised!
