I’m on the tail end of a move and barely noticed it was Black Friday until I opened my phone. My email was in hyperdrive with sales and offers. Everywhere I looked online…it was a bit overwhelming. As a business owner, do you join Black Friday promotions? If so, are you measuring your results to see what to repeat and what to tweak? I ask this question because it’s easy to fall into the FOMO (fear of missing out) on consumer dollars this time of year. Black Friday works well for retail businesses and can for other models, too. Just measure your results and start with a plan. Lowering prices rather than creating value can quickly turn your services into a commodity. So, whether you did a launch or promo today, shopped, overate (again), watched football (again) or move to another part of your building (me), I hope you did it well and didn’t feel too much overload. Hopefully, it was a day of relaxation for you.
