My sewingroom ( Bee Cottage) is small and I expect a lot from it and pack it to the seams but I do love to be in here sewing. I have a full design wall. As a quilter I think it's a must have station. In my photo, you'll see i use cork boards and one needs to be replaced. It's on my list. I quilt on Julianne. She is only used and is set up for machine quilting. Next,is Roselyn, the exact same juki tl-2000qi. She's my main piecing machine. She's fabulous. Above , are my in progress works and some fabrics. I don't shut down a bin until all borders are on and binding/ labels are made. These are WIPS and not UFOs. I work on them all at least once a month. Next, you'll see the die cutting machine. Close at hand if needed but out of the way when not. Perfect for cutting English Paper Piecing papers and traditional quilt pieces. Shelves of all the stuff lol. So much stuff but I do use it! My desk. I do my hand sewing here. Epp, yoyos, appliques, hand quilting and applique. Tv because you can always enjoy a nice movie as you stitch. My juki dx2000qvp is Maribelle, for special stitches and things that don't use a straight seam. I've got a gizmo on my main machine which prohibits stitch and flips and strings etc. Batting anyone? I can't quilt without it. Finally I'll end my tour with storage, more storage, baskets of fabrics, my cutting station and pressing station.i utilize my walls. My rule is don't leave the sewingroom without cleaning up. My work room is clean because it's calming and productive to how I work. I've got to paint the crates under the TV and replace a corkboard. I'll get there eventually lol.
