I almost gave up on property before it finally worked.
Not because I didn’t believe in property… but because I couldn’t figure out how to fund it consistently. I had the vision. I had the drive. What I didn’t have was a reliable system to generate capital to reinvest. Every deal felt like starting from zero again, and that pressure nearly pushed me out of the game. What changed everything was getting closer to the right collaborator. Someone who helped me build a system that actually worked for me, simple, scalable, and aligned with my long-term property goals. Once that piece clicked, momentum followed, and things finally started to move the way I’d imagined from the beginning. Looking back, the struggle wasn’t wasted, it shaped how I think about income, leverage, and collaboration today. Happy to hear from you: What was (or is) the biggest challenge in your journey before things started to work? Funding, mindset, strategy, or finding the right people? Let’s share experiences, someone here might need to hear your story today. @Lanre Shodeinde @Rachael Allen @Richard Smith @Emma Robertson @Jason van Velzen

@Emma Robertson Thanks for sharing this, Emma, you’re definitely not alone. I felt the same way for a long time before I learned how to approach it with a clearer system instead of trial and error. What part of the task feels most challenging for you right now, and what have you tried so far?

@Chadia Diallo sounds great! I’m happy to share more details and exchange insights around positioning and distribution when it makes sense. If you’d like to continue the conversation more consistently, you can reach me on WhatsApp here: https://wa.me/447503246154
I need a crash course, any one else?
I began assembling my work force today To attack this 3 deals in 90 days challenge To avoid needing an actual solicitor, and having studied the foundations and some legal frameworks with the Open University, I wonder if it would be at all possible, for me to learn from a master of legal conveyances and then offer my new skill set to any others, who like me have an interest in skill sharing. Comment with any ideas you may have to share If you dare 😁

I didn’t realize this was the real problem… until everything else stopped working.
For a long time, I thought progress meant doing more, consuming more information, testing different ideas, adjusting constantly, staying busy. On the surface, it looked like movement. Internally, though, things felt scattered and heavier than they should have. What quietly broke things wasn’t effort or commitment. It was the lack of a clear direction to commit to long enough for momentum to build. Once that clicked, everything shifted. Fewer distractions. Cleaner decisions. More confidence in daily actions. The interesting part is that clarity usually shows up before results do, but only if you give it space to breathe. When the focus becomes simple and intentional, progress starts to feel sustainable instead of forced. Tell me this, what’s the one thing you’ve been putting effort into lately that still doesn’t feel aligned the way you expected?

MOST PEOPLE STRUGGLE WITH BUILDING ASSETS, NOT BECAUSE THEY CAN’T, BUT BECAUSE THEY START IN THE WRONG PLACE
I’ve noticed that so many of us get excited about “quick wins” or jumping into multiple strategies at once, but it often leads to overwhelm and stagnation. For years, I tried doing everything at once, investing time, energy, and money, yet the results never matched my effort. The turning point came when I connected with someone in this community who had already built real, sustainable systems. With their guidance, I focused on one clear approach, made small but consistent actions, and started seeing results I hadn’t imagined, milestones stacking week after week. The lesson? Building real assets isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing the right things consistently and learning from the right people. ___ What’s the biggest challenge you’re facing right now in building assets, and what’s one thing you feel could make a real difference if you focused on it consistently?
Something I’ve been reflecting on lately…
One challenge I see many of us facing in asset-building communities is not a lack of effort or intention, but navigating where to place our focus in the early stages. There’s so much information available, strategies, frameworks, opinions, that it’s easy to feel unsure about what deserves consistent attention. I went through a phase of learning a lot but moving very little, simply because I hadn’t yet aligned my actions with a clear structure. Once I started prioritizing depth over breadth and staying patient with the process, things began to feel more stable and intentional. Building assets is rarely about quick wins. It’s more about making small, aligned decisions repeatedly and allowing time for them to compound. 💬 What’s been the most challenging part of your journey so far, choosing a direction, staying consistent, or managing expectations in the early stages?
