What A Wonder
Would love some input on this one as I'm feeling a bit stuck with it at the moment! There a few spots I'm still not sure about, specifically the chorus melody and the bridge. Thanks guys! @Jon Althoff this is all very helpful! Super appreciate the long response, chorus idea, and bridge thought. I actually didn’t have the bridge initially and it was added at a retreat, but I agree it doesn’t feel like it’s adding a ton. I also feel like I could have just kept going writing verses 😂 I’ll play around with it sometime soon and get back to you!

Oh Be Still (Psalm 46)
Hey Friends! Here's a song that I wrote and then had a few others help with at a writing retreat. Definitely interested in some feedback/ideas on any areas that could still use some work! @Patrick Anderson ya the range is probably my least favourite thing about this one, but haven't been able to give it the same feel without it so far. Haha maybe... ;)

@Mike Somerville Thank you! Yes the range has definitely been a concern I've had with this one from the start. I've played around with other melodic options and haven't found anything that fits as well so far. Believe it or not this is actually a smaller range than it had originally...haha! Appreciate the lyric suggestions...I'll play around with those as well. Thanks!

Hey everyone! I'm Caroline and I'm from Cobourg, Ontario, Canada (about an hour from Toronto). My hobbies mostly include getting outside (hiking, camping, canoeing, horses) and I have the privilege of serving as worship director at a church here. After a long break from writing I've been feeling like God is calling me back to it over the past few years, so I'm doing my best to be faithful to that. I've been involved in some songwriting retreats this past year that I've found very helpful and encouraging!
