DAILY QUEST 2026 07 11 ๐Ÿค More Than a Business Card
TODAY'S VIBE: When you meet someone new, what makes you want to keep the conversation going? Need a little inspiration? ๐Ÿ’ฌ they ask thoughtful questions ๐Ÿ˜Š they're easy to talk to ๐Ÿ’ก they share helpful ideas ๐ŸŽฏ you have something in common โœจ you leave the conversation energized ๐Ÿ”ฅ MOMENTUM BUILDER: Read a few replies and see if someone's answer resonates with you. Great relationships often start with a simple conversation - and a little curiosity.

I'm all of the above. Mutual interests definitely help on a personal level. On a professional level, sharing ideas is one trait I really love. You can be in a funk, and having those second sets of eyes or a brain can help as well (which helps you feel energized after the conversations).

@Elizabeth R - Any type of mentoring at this point. More than likely, it will be peer-to-peer since I'm a professional, not in school. I need help with things like my portfolio, content, and upping my LinkedIn content. I'm not sure what these places are looking for and such. I want to be ready if they hire via the hidden job market.

Quick tip: stop picking brand colors based on what's pretty ๐ŸŽจ
Your colors aren't decoration โ€” they're communication. People feel something about your business before they've read a single word, and that feeling comes from color. Here's a quick breakdown of what each color signals: ๐ŸŸฅ Red = bold, passionate, urgent ๐ŸŸง Orange = friendly, energetic, approachable ๐ŸŸจ Yellow = warm, optimistic (but can tip into anxious if overused) ๐ŸŸฉ Green = calm, growth, healthy ๐ŸŸฆ Blue = trusted, dependable ๐ŸŸช Purple = creative, premium, wise ๐ŸŸซ Brown = grounded, earthy, authentic โฌ› Black = sophisticated, powerful โฌœ Grey = calm, neutral, balanced โฌœ White = clean, open, premium Not sure where to start? Try the four seasons approach ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ‚โ„๏ธ Think about which of these feels most like your brand energy: ๐ŸŒธ Spring โ€” warm, fresh, playful (coral, peach, soft yellow) ๐ŸŒฟ Summer โ€” soft, muted, romantic (dusty rose, sage, lavender) ๐Ÿ‚ Autumn โ€” rich, grounded, earthy (terracotta, mustard, deep olive) โ„๏ธ Winter โ€” bold, high-contrast, premium (black, white, jewel tones) Once you've found your season, pick ONE or TWO confident colors from it โ€” not all of them. Restraint is what makes a palette look intentional, not indecisive. And here's my favorite practical tip: if you're doing a brand photoshoot, wear your accent color. That one decision can anchor your entire website palette and make everything feel instantly cohesive. (P.S. yes, I know I'm wearing red in my profile pic AND on my website. Old brand era, haven't had time to reshoot yet. Do as I say, not as I do ๐Ÿ˜…) Full breakdown on the blog if you want to go deeper ๐Ÿ‘‰https://www.msedigitaldesigns.com/blog/how-to-choose-brand-colors

Color psychology is one step people often overlook when creating logos, branding, etc. They are bent on choosing these colors, and that's it. They are not looking at what the color means, the industry standards, etc.
