Here's how it works: once you join a channel, it gets added to your IG Direct chat list. From there, you can read and react to messages posted in the chat, but you can't post anything yourself to the chat feed. It's a smart move by Instagram, which is catering to the shift towards more private messaging within the app. Most users now engage in private messages rather than posting to Stories or their main feed. They may skip to their favorite song(s), repeat them a zillion times but still at some point may listen to the album start to bottom or at least try to. I think it's important to define what the album is for a particular artist and project. It may be a collection of songs the artist thought fit well or it could actually have a theme regardless the sequencing would still matter when a listener sat down to digest the album. Thoughts?
