I usually use a combo of black magic vibe range. Their Ultra is very dark thanks to great bronzers, so made for photoshoots. I usually mix it with either their vibe violet or green, depending on the client. I also love their argan 15%. Other great brands in Europe are Naked Tan Chocolate and Azure Tan (Extreme dark, Green or Violet).
Bespoke Blower Powder Applicator
Hey everyone, Happy Monday, I wanted to jump on to let you all know about a purchase I just made to elevate my finishing powder ritual! She looks amazing & i’m so excited to test her out. Made in the USA by Bespoke Bronzed called the Bespoke Blower Powder Applicator. Price $189.00 USD. I will attach a barcode so you can see it in action thru IG. There is a wait list but I only had to wait 2 weeks so super quick restock! I will jump back on after I have received it and tested it out to give feedback! Take care guys 🤎. See part 2 in comments

I really want to try this - it looks like it would save so much time, both in appointments & cleaning brushes

Finishing Powder application ideas
Can I open up a discussion with all you lovely technicians about finishing powder application/techniques. Are we applying with a brush or an applicator. I have used both methods but find the dusting with a soft brush directly to the skin is much easier. I have seen on you tube some technicians using the hose to blow the powder onto their client's skin. Has anyone had success with this? I have horrible visions of me doing this and ending up with powder over all my clients face lol Also do you provide this service as complimentary, or do you charge extra?

I’ve tried with a brush, with the hose and with a bulb puffer & I have gone back to the brush. I’m mobile & I find the mess with anything but the brush is just too much. The brush gives me more control over the application too. It definitely is more work, as I need to bring a single use bowl for each customer (I use mini ice cream cups) & it’s a lot of brushes to wash & sterilise, but it’s worth it
