.I’m licking my wounds from Saturday afternoon. I actually found a yard sale—something I haven’t done in 15 years. I had a hard time locating it until I asked a yard guy for directions. I got there, and the woman clearly sells jewelry regularly. Everything was priced at top dollar—nothing amazing, mostly knockoffs. Some pieces were marked as silver or vintage, and they weren’t. She told me she has a lot of Whatnot customers, had someone coming the next day to help her with an auction, and was planning to start doing her own. I tried Brad’s suggestion and asked if she had anything else she might want to sell. She brought out a tray, and there was a really nice signed Carol Lee necklace. I asked the price, she said $20, and I told her I’d take it. I kept looking for about an hour, thinking maybe I could find another good deal if the price made sense. I did pick out a few more things. When she totaled everything, it came to $190 at full price. I said no, I just wanted the necklace and a pair of earrings. Meanwhile, she had been giving other people deals but wanted to charge me full price. She told me I had said I was buying everything and then refused to sell me anything at all. She got upset, started raising her voice, and wouldn’t even sell me the necklace. But when one door closes another one opens

I’ve found this piece in several places online. Everything from Trifari to Hattie Carnegie. It’s unsigned. It has some articulation at waist, shoulders and items held in hands. Pricing varies as well. I’ve researched a lot but can’t decide a sb. Any help you can offer I’d appreciate.
