I’m making a few changes here - Firstly the name - The community will now be called Tattoo Growth Lab!!! I feel this new name fits our overall goal a little better. The last name seemed to be confusing people a little, when it came to the groups purpose. Another big change - This group is now FREE for anyone to join. If you know anyone who would like to join our supportive community, they can search us in the Skool App & sign up for free. I’m really excited to invite more people into our space & get some new conversations going! I will be adding free seminars here, as well as more in depth courses later. I really appreciate you guys being here, as we bring this idea to life!

I had to take a little break from posting this past week. I've had some long days tattooing & as I just opened my books, scheduling is a bit hectic right now! While taking a pause, I have been thinking of ideas, as I'm planning to do a relaunch for this community soon. My initial thoughts were that if I invited artists to a community forum, we'd have buzzing conversations about our business, but to be honest, it's very quiet in here! (cue tumble weed 😄). So my thoughts are that if I add a few short courses first, I can add more value upfront & we'll have more to talk about, as we start to attract new members. So a quick question - If I was creating a course to help you with something - what areas of tattooing are interesting you the most right now? Where could you use some help, or where are you looking to improve? My thoughts revolve around marketing & booking, tattoo techniques, colour mixing & findingyour tattoo style. I would like to cover all of these things, but it would be great to have a starting point that resonates with you!

Apologies to you guys who were keen to join our live call tomorrow. I'm going to have to skip this week's call. I just received news that the Fire Dept can check the studio in the morning. This is the final step & means I'll get the green light to open tomorrow!!! I've been so excited leading up to here, but not being able to give a location to my clients for bookings this month has been a weight on my mind. I always tell new clients that excitement & stress can be so similar. I do believe that, but also like to use it as a way to calm people's nerves. Well this past week I have been carrying a good dose of each! This final step will definitely be a weight off of my mind. Whilst also being the realization of a dream that started over 15 years ago. Way before I even started Tattooing. And I know that because today is my 15th Wedding Anniversary. And my wife, who I appreciate so much, has been along for the ride with me. In the journey to starting out, the pursuit of success in Tattooing & the ever changing ideas about having my dream studio. It has been a such a great journey leading up to here. I can't wait to invite more artists to this space, so we can share our journeys together. Ps - Live calls will be every Thursday 10am (pst) from now on! 🙂
