Supporting Others and Giving Back
Can you help a girl out? I have a couple local places I donate money to but Iam looking for that place that lights me up. Something I really want to support and feel pulled to give money, time, energy, etc. I know giving is the first key to receiving so there is that, but also I just want to be a part of something that is reaching more people. Does anyone in the group have suggestions ?

This got me to figure out how to log back in. Turns out it was quite easy! I am here to see what comes up as ideas for the same reasons you have stated. My first inclination is "lets build it". My second response to that is, "shit, not enough time and focus to give to that idea". I wonder if we could talk to the high school in PR and find out what kind of items they need more than anything and maybe we head up a drive? I donated a few bags of nice clothes after a clothing swap and they were grateful to put it in their "closet" for the kids. The only other thing I am a part of right now that I love is the BOB's. I don't recall if you know about them. Debbie is also a "member" if we can call ourselves that. Bitches Over Bonner ("officially" our unofficial group name). It's pretty cool. $240/year and we donate to people going through a rough time. It's a variety of things meant to help lift someone up and through something. One time we helped fund a kid who received a scholarship to a summer camp but didn't have the difference to attend and it was believed that the camp would make a positive impact for this scholarship recipient. Sometimes it's networking to find a washing machine and other times it's helping with a dental bill or part of rent. Let me know if you would want to be a part of this group of (mostly) women. I will be curious what other organizations come up. Thanks for asking the question.

I'm excited about this. I've done many of these in the past, but now that I am in a new home it feels like a TOTALLY different game to play inside of. Nothing is flowing the same as it did before. Like, NOTHING! I'm excited to level up the flow of my dressing process.

Hi, born & raised in the PNW. Country mouse turned small city mouse recently. Starting over in career...except it's the same career in a new location. Gemini who works with a neuro-diverse brain. Much of my life this has been a super power, and other times it makes the ordinary exceptionally challenging. I adore people and connecting about the big Self/spirit stuff. I present as an extrovert but I am intensely introverted from the standpoint of how I draw or expel energy. My latest journey in this life seems to be with the themes of focus and loneliness. Ontological and philosophical approaches tend to work well for me when I am Being and living my best self.
