You can truly...TRULY...make your world up
There's a great deal of situations in which I have found myself having to balance the equality of various things that show up in granular to grand sense of duality. What I mean by this is that I'm finding a pattern in my life (as well as those around me) in which decisions that are being made I see affecting people and situation on a micro scale (something that may affect an immediate small amount of people if not just a single individual) vs decisions being made on a demographic or geographic on a macro scale (something that effects the culture of a community or the ethos of an office space.) As a street therapist, I encourage clients to reflect on their decisions before taking a first step on whatever journey the decide to travel, but I also encourage clients to reflect on their experiences as well so as to help them with their sense of discernment when it comes to the decisions they make so that they have full understanding of who and what is affected from the decisions they will make. I write this post as a reminder to myself (as well as those that read it) that the amount of decisions I have to make daily end up making my life what it is. Those decisions that I do have to make not only affect me, but also those that are around me and in my world. Having that kind of responsibility is heavy...so truly heavy...but I have to keep mind that the decisions I do make are to be for the most ideal benevolence EVEN IF something goes horribly wrongs and fails for not just myself, but for my team. That is a burden I am currently in mental weight-training for, and having this weight of responsibility is very difficult for a person like myself who always pays attention to flow patterns, but has the hardest time working around his own inconsistency at times. It does form a sense of anxiety within myself that I hope I don't protrude to the rest of the world. Though I do my best not to pay attention to all of the headlines and news, there a part of me that still has to pay some attention to it so that I have an understanding of what goes on not just on a local level with my hometown city, but I do watch it also on an international level at times to see the effects of the ethos of the global economy. If I may disclose slightly, I primarily pay attention to news that has anything to do with the common culture of people outside of the otherwise "pop culture" situations that are about. In other words, I've followed the likes of celebrities and "stars" throughout my times on the planet, but more so for the purpose of seeing how they are serving their community or the world as opposed to just finding the latest fashions and trends. Silently and underhandedly, these people I follow have somehow shaped the world not only that they live in, but also my world; moreover, these same people that I've followed may have very well have been followed by many others like myself and quite possibly have had their world shaped by the people they followed.
