I believe who we become is shaped by the ideas we take in. That makes what we read worth being intentional about. For me, leadership development isn’t just learning how to run a better business. It’s becoming someone people can trust. Someone who handles hard conversations with humility, follows through, and does the right thing when it costs something. Books can challenge how we think. But the goal isn’t to finish more books. It’s to let what we learn change how we lead. Some of my favorite authors are Patrick Lencioni, Gino Wickman, Tim Keller, James Clear, Michael Lewis, Angela Duckworth, and Malcolm Gladwell. Different perspectives, but plenty to explore about character, habits, people, and judgment. That’s the direction I’d love for our Lion’s Den book studies: honest conversations about meaningful ideas and how we put them into practice.
