It is often called the British version of the Oscars. At this party Alan Cumming was the leader of the show. He was very funny and wore interesting outfits . He did many things that people did not expect, so he was a host of surprises. It was like A Scottish Night: Alan is from Scotland, and many other people from Scotland won awards that night too. - During the show, some people said mean or wrong things. Alan was very brave. He spoke up and told everyone to be kind to each other. Alan Cumming did a great job. He did not just read from a paper; he made the whole night feel special and exciting.
