Reduced fee for publishing capacities on TAKEOVER
Hi builders. Made some updates to takeover and reduced the publishing fee to 15 nim based on complaints that fee was much, now it's much cheaper to list and test the markets for your unused capacity. Check here👉🏼 Takeover-web-gamma.vercel.app

@Jeremy Lee thanks man. Technically no, currently the system isn't designed to reimburse the charges but sure I can make exceptions for some users(that maybe just want to test) and just maybe manually send back what was paid.

@Jeremy Lee yeah if you meant the escrow payment/deposit, yes it is refundable to buyer when delivery isn't confirmed. Also, on the use case, takeover doesn't serve or purpose isn't to replace a missed reservation with another reservation. Not a reservation system – it's a marketplace for released capacity. It was built for providers that wish to sell slots with real monetary value attached to it, use case examples- slots already paid for(paid booking not reservation) and not met up with, scarce slots that were canceled last minute and need to be filled(reservations cancelled) and actually paid for. Basically scarcity is the whole idea - you paid for it in full but can't meet up and use it, there's not a lot available currently and I need this now so I pay you to take your slot. It wouldn't however work with replacement for free reservations because there would be nothing to pay for – there's nothing to escrow, nothing to release, no value to transfer. Also planned reservations(e.g reservation made two weeks in advance)isn't the target market here as they are not last minute(scarce) capacity and don't need takeover.

@Faadil Boussari thanks for the honest and detailed review. Holds are placed when a buyer wants to claim a capacity to keep traffic in check and avoid a clash among buyers. However you're right about adding more explanation to onboarding related to this and a couple, will look into that. Also, I made some updates to takeover and would be glad if you check it out. 👉🏼 takeover-web-gamma.vercel.app Thanks😊

I made TAKEOVER more intuitive and seamless
For those who saw my earlier post, thank you. For those who didn't: TAKEOVER is a Nimiq Pay Mini App for last-minute released capacity. A table, a seat, a court hour frees up — providers list it, buyers claim it, USDT escrow on Polygon protects the payment. It was built for the Nimiq hackathon and submitted. Since the submission, I've been doing the part that's less glamorous but matters more: making the thing actually feel good to use. A few of the changes worth mentioning: Sign up how you want. Email or wallet, either identifies you. If you sign up with email you can link your wallet later from your profile, or link it the moment you need to pay. No dead ends. A real profile. Photo, bio, location, a public page at profile. Tap a provider's name on any opening to see who they are before you commit. You can follow providers you like. Multi-quantity claims. If an opening has 3 spots, you can claim 2 or all 3. The escrow amount is calculated per quantity. A product tour on first run. Three short stops to properly and quickly onboard you; the feed, a slot, the nav. Dismissible, runs once. A design overhaul. Dark theme, cleaner typography, better hierarchy. It doesn't look like a template anymore. And a few real bugs fixed : the kind you only find by actually using the thing. Wallet linking from profile, field-specific editing, provider profiles on the feed. If you tried it before and bounced off something, it's worth a second look. If you haven't, pls do here Takeover-web-gamma.vercel.app Feedback still welcome. Especially the unflattering kind😁
