Is there a Day 4/Finale Replay?
Hi friends. It's 1am. I had physical therapy during the session today. And then in the 12 hours since I've been hyperfocusing the entire time (well I did eat a couple of times, and drink water, and recycle that water 😁) on a super knotty, urgent, time-sensitive, high-impact, complicated thingie with my health insurance. The first part of this had to be resolved by midnight. My body, mind and energy are tired, but I hoped to at least taste today's meeting before bed. I don't see it in the classroom. Does it exist? Coming later? I feel like Day 1 really kicked out a lot of habit patterns for me. That's a huge win for regulation -- and yet, also, because I participated thoroughly and many parts of me said, "Whaaaa?!?, I've been dysregulating a lot in the short run since. But a direction became very clear. I feel tired and grateful.

After Day 3
I completed day 3 of the ADHD Focus Reset Yes! I listened to Jim’s talk and then immediately left for my bodywork studio. I used the subway commute as the body doubling time. So many texts and emails got done for planning client sessions, communicating with the contractor renovating my office, following up on healthcare and health insurance issues of my own,, etc. Productive, focused, satisfying. Watched the video tonight after greatly losing my focus at the end of a big client workday. Necessary communications turned into lots of undisciplined scrolling and dopamine slurping. I even watched myself let it happen. Got home, tired and more aware of the effects of scrolling wildly. Then came to thus site for the video and sharing with you. . My mood today: Varied widely from 6 to 10. Started off the day exhausted, and didn’t have time to take a walk, exercise or shower. Really enjoyed my client time and tasks… until I lost it afterward. That is a common habit after a day of even one client session. I don’t want to indulge in scrolling like that. My focus score today: 3-10 Reflection on body doubling: Worked well, even though I did the effort-focusing part on the subway commute. I’ve never formally done body doubling before. How do you stage this when you’re not in a cohort here? Would some of you like to say how you put it together? Optional reflection/win: Maximum availability and joy for clients and tasks. And even observed the tougher moments with some good success

Pay Attention To Email 😄
I saw an email that went to spam. I saw it had harmony and just about clicked it when I realized it said, "Partner of eHarmony". I see the word Harmony, and I jump on those emails. Don't be like me and assume all "Harmony" emails are ADHD Harmony or you might get scammed or a new partner. LOL🤦

So, not all “Harmony” emails are harmonious

I completed day 2 of the ADHD Focus Reset My mood today: 7.5 My focus score today: 8.5 Reflection on breathwork: I experienced it after a fully stacked busy day, on replay after midnight. I felt beautifully and safely held. I enjoyed tracking events as they happened, even with occasional brief blips in breath rhythm. It was all less intense than I had expected during it (and I’m feeling open, as of now, to what may come after. It’s possible that the lower intensity is partly due to the interruption of signal, having to estimate where I’d left off, and realizing I may have missed a couple of minutes. Optional reflection/win. Day 1’s commitments for yesterday into today were potent. The quiet of much less cell and computer, the simplicity of walking outside in the morning sun. I think they were potentially great dopamine detox — and it was at times really uncomfortable and disorienting and evocative. I felt both strong and vulnerable. I saw my triggers intensely — and lots of observations about over-stacking my activities, hidden expectations of myself and others, RSD noise. I feel sad that I’ll miss tomorrow. My hope is that there will be a replay, of some sort, of the body doubling session (which I’ve never formally done before) and it can actually work virtually.
IMPORTANT: The ADHD Focus Reset Kick-off is TODAY.
I've received a lot of messages from people who couldn't make it today, so I've decided to postpone the kick-off until SATURDAY to give more of you the chance to join. Sorry for the late notice, and thanks for your understanding. Looking forward to seeing you all there! 💛

@Renee Kers Thanks, Renee. For me, the Calendar was just one of the players in the confusion. That said, today’s program, Day 1, was great - i enjoyed, appreciated and felt inspired, hopeful and motivated from it
