Interruption and thoughts
For me, interruptions aren’t always annoying because they take thirty seconds. They’re annoying because I have no idea whether I’ll be able to reopen the mental door I finally managed to get through. Sometimes returning to the task costs far more energy than the interruption itself. I’d be interested to know whether others experience that “task re-entry” problem too and what helps. What’s worse, I myself am an interrupter. It’s one of the beautiful traits under ADHD, but again when I’m interrupted, let’s move on to the next subject. At 2:34am I’ll remember

A clean environment and an active open note area to note everything down to "close the loop", to mark it down to think about later helps a ton
Does anyone else think in pictures?
I’ve been noticing lately just how much my brain thinks in pictures. When people explain something to me I usually see an image, an analogy or a metaphor that helps it make sense. It happens all the time when I’m coaching. Someone will be talking through something that feels messy or complicated and suddenly I’ll get an image and ask, “Can I share what I’m seeing?” 🧐 For a long time I just thought this was one of those things my brain does, but I’m beginning to realise it’s actually one of the things I really value about the way my brain works. I may not always be great with linear, step-by-step thinking, or spreadsheets 😅 but I am good at seeing connections and joining the dots in pictures. Maybe it’s one of my ADHD superpowers. Anyone else relate?

It's actually how the brain naturally works, but not everyone is aware of it the way you are! It's a good thing because it lets you be more intentional about your thinking
Daily Check-in
📅 Daily Check-in - August 5, 2026 💭 Reflection: "Choosing to be conscious of my surroundings and applying daily protocols is a way to help better myself and enjoy life with inner peace. I've been practicing this every day since mid-January, when I decided to quit drinking, doing drugs and smoking. My journey has been amazing. Since Cohort 3, I have learned and am still learning ways to live with MY ADHD. Have a wonderful day everyone. let's go!
Recently diagnosed ADHD and hoping to navigate this now
Just did the first part of my Operating Manual and realised something. That messy pile of papers I always got in trouble for? I knew exactly what was in it. The problem was never that I can't organise, it's that I organise visually and everything around me was built for a filing-cabinet brain. Ten years of planners suddenly make sense.
