Why most AI automation don't actually work
One thing I'm learning about AI automation, you don't need more tools, you need one clear business problem to solve. What problem are you trying to automate right now?
@Carsten Schulz That’s honestly a really good example of what I meant. Clear problem, clear rule, clear outcome and the user doesn’t have to fight paperwork just to get what’s fair. It’s interesting how the tech part is often the easiest, but the real resistance comes from institutions that are built around complexity. Out of curiosity, was the pushback more about regulation, internal processes, or just fear of changing how things have always been done?
@Joao Mateus Naves Amazon’s data is powerful but incredibly fragmented, so it’s hard to see the story behind the numbers. Wanting a single place for reliable, actionable KPIs is a very real problem. You’re right that the biggest challenge isn’t the dashboard itself, but feeding clean, consistent data into it. Have you ever tried connecting Amazon data with Shopify data (even just at a high level)? I’ve seen cases where having both in one view makes patterns much clearer especially around sales velocity, inventory movement, and demand trends.
runwayml
Anyone else using runwayml? I'm having trouble and burning through my monthly credits trying to get a perfect loop published to Facebook. I've tried my raw footage and completely generated AI videos and still always see a glitch on my posts. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
You’re not alone Runway loops can be surprisingly tricky, especially for Facebook. A few things that helped me cut down on glitches and wasted credits: • Don’t rely on Runway’s loop toggle alone. Export normally, then manually loop it in a video editor (CapCut, Premiere, After Effects) by cross-fading the first and last frames. That alone fixed most “jump” issues for me.• Make sure the first and last frames are visually similar. Even small lighting or motion differences will show up as a glitch once FB recompresses it. If anything here is unclear or you’re still facing issues, feel free to comment or message me I’m happy to help you work through it. @Michael Lohse
The Opportunity Isn’t the Hard Part
Sometimes you get exactly what you asked for—and instead of excitement, you feel the pressure. Because once the opportunity shows up, there’s no one else to wait on. No one else to blame. It’s on you. That’s the part most people don’t fully understand: opportunity doesn’t just require action...it requires capacity. Discipline. Decision-making. Follow-through. Responsibility. So don’t just focus on getting the opportunity. Focus on becoming the person who can execute, keep it, and continue to build it once it arrives. Question: Where do you need to increase your capacity right now...skills, systems, or standards?
AI automation is powerful but most people quit because they overcomplicate it. What's one automation you wish was explained in simple language?
