Winter is coming.. ❄️
**If you’re reading this, please leave a comment! It helps the growth of this community. 🫶🏻 With darker days approaching quickly, I wanted to get a quick pulse check to see how everyone is feeling in terms of keeping up with their physical and mental health. I used to struggle every year. The second the temps dropped below 60 my brain would say “it’s time to be sad again”… I repeated the cycle for YEARS. Until 2 years ago. I FINALLY feel like I found a system that works for me and I’ve officially made it through 2 winters without the dreaded ‘season depression’. I would love nothing more than to teach you the systems that have worked for me and how you can apply them to your own life. But first, I’m curious to see how we’re all feeling heading into this winter. Are you prepared to create routines and stick to your goals, or do you already feel behind? Do you struggle with seasonal depression? What’s it like for you? Or have you found systems that work for you too? If so, please share! I created this community to help just that.. a community. So please use the comment section to start conversations with each other! 👇🏼

I have found that having the right gear to get outside makes all the difference! For me in the Seattle area that means warm clothes and rain gear. For example, a stroller cover, rain boots, warm socks, layered clothes, a rain jacket, rain suits for the kiddos, gloves, etc… it can be a pain to gather everything (which is why I start gathering things early and before the rainy season starts), but being able to get outside for a walk with the kids or even take them to the park knowing they won’t get drenched makes a huge difference!

@Susie Suttles exactly! It can be so tough to make it happen, but for me at least, it’s always worth it!
Mindset change
Lately my mental health has been taking a hit but after 6 months of working with @Susie Suttles I can take a step back and see the progress in my mindset and habits. I have to look at the progress made and how even on hard days I am getting outside, walking at least 7,000 steps (most days), lifting at least 2-3 times a week and continuing to make healthier food choices! Thanks to a great trainer she has helped me refocus on what I am doing instead of “I’m just doing this..but not this”

Sunday = Grocery Day 🥩🥦🍊🥑
How do you grocery shop? In person or online? I’m ordering online for the first time in a while.. forgot how easy and time saving it is!! ❓What’s your biggest struggle when it comes to grocery shopping/ eating healthy/ meal prep?

@Susie Suttles and @Ashley Zehr totally agree that the driver tip is 100% worth paying for to avoid going to a grocery store. Sometimes I use ChatGPT to help me find kid friendly meal ideas. I’ll even share what I have on hand and to come up with a handful of meal ideas.

🥰 Feel Good Friday
It’s Feel-Good Friday 💃 Part of growth is rebuilding your relationship with yourself — so here’s today’s challenge: 💬 Share ONE thing you love about yourself right now. Not “when I lose 10 lbs,” not “when life slows down” but today, as you are. Go ahead, brag a little 💅🏼👇🏼 (P.S., I’m thinking of hosting a Meal Prep Masterclass on Sunday mornings at 10am to show you behind the scenes of how I plan my meals, grocery shop on a budget, and batch cook everything in under 4 hours.
