Hi everyone, I’m Brian, 69 years old and currently living in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. About a year ago, I packed up my life in the United States and moved to San Miguel de Allende. It was one of the biggest leaps I’ve ever taken and one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I’m a massage therapist, trader, and author. Before that, I spent many years working as an ASL interpreter for the deaf, helping bridge communication between hearing and Deaf communities. Much of my life has been a journey through anxiety, healing, spirituality, and learning to trust myself instead of the many voices that told me who I should be. These days, I’m far more interested in presence than perfection. I’m currently writing a book called The Power of Nothing, which explores healing, awareness, and the unexpected wisdom that can emerge when we stop fighting ourselves and start listening more deeply. I enjoy meaningful conversations, photography, writing, exploring San Miguel, and connecting with people who are curious about life, growth, and what it means to live authentically. I have three daughters and several grandchildren who mean the world to me. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone and hearing your stories. — Brian
