Its Finally Here! Our Largest In Person Event Ever!!!
Massive announcement! You may not know this, but I have almost doubled the size of my portfolio this year, and we just went under contract for another massive deal. This is not because I'm amazing at doing this. This is specifically because 2026 has been, by far, the best year with the most opportunity. In light of this, I can't physically do all the deals that are out there, so I want to invite you todo all these deals instead. This is the year where a ton of the larger players are either losing their portfolios or, more commonly, they're simply scaling back and trimming the deals that they overpaid for, taking their losses and moving on. This has resulted in my buying more deals, zero dollars out of pocket, than I have ever thought possible. I am hosting an event at the Robin Hood Village Resort (my seller financed resort). I was spending two days with some of the best speakers and deal negotiators in my personal network. Talking about creative real estate from beginning to end, the entire business model. If you take one of the hundred spots that are available for this event (because that's how many people my resort can host) here's what you will experience. You'll learn how we are finding these deals in real time, You will learn the analytics, the math behind them, and leave with the tools to underwrite deals yourself, (I'm releasing some really cool new stuff that'll be completely free to you), you will watch us negotiate actual deals live in front of you at the event, and may go home with a deal of your own, you will hear from Cody Davis on Creative Finance, Eric Bubbel, one of the best brokers I've ever worked with, you'll even learn how to raise capital if more money is needed. And much more. Oh, by the way, dinner will be catered, there'll be live bands playing at our concert venue, the kayaks will be available, there may or may not be a wine bar directly across the street from us.... @Mack Schricker That's awesome, Mack. It sounds like you already have a strong foundation in real estate and development, and shifting into the commercial side could definitely open up bigger opportunities for you. As for me, I focus on helping business owners and community members put systems in place to grow and scale their businesses, especially around lead generation, automation, and customer acquisition. So far, I've been getting some solid results by helping clients generate traffic, build their customer base, and improve their overall business processes. Since you're making the move from residential into commercial, what would you say has been the biggest challenge or learning curve you've encountered so far?

@Ken Zablocki That's a great goal, Ken. One business model many people are using to create additional income is e-commerce because it can be started online with relatively low overhead. A lot of people begin part-time, build an extra income stream, and some eventually grow it enough to focus on it full-time. It's been helping many people create more financial freedom while building something of their own. If you're open to it, I'd be happy to share a few ideas on how people are getting started.

I currently own and manage a 36-unit single family portfolio and I'm making the move into multifamily, targeting 40-100 unit deals in the North Texas area. My SF experience has given me a solid foundation in tenant management, financing, and operations, though this will be my first MF acquisition. Excited to learn from this group, connect with others active in Texas, and happy to share what I know on the SF/property management side. Looking forward to participating."

@Bill Barton Bill Barton That's a smart move, Bill. With your underwriting and deal analysis experience, you're already used to evaluating opportunities based on numbers and potential returns. That's actually one of the reasons I got into e-commerce. It provides an additional income stream that's not tied to the real estate market, and many of the skills you're already using transfer over well. With the market constantly changing, having another source of income can make a big difference. If you're open to it, I'd be happy to show you how e commerce works. It could be a great complement to what you're already building and help create additional revenue along the way.

It's a girl. She hasn't paid rent yet, but it looks like the eviction process is going to take a few more months. Drafting up the eviction papers for October 18. Apparently, part of this process includes another 18 years of free rent at my house..... Additionally, I also incur a pretty hefty bill for a wedding if some guy comes around offering her new housing when she's all grown up..... As landlord-tenant rules go she is getting a pretty sweet deal. In all seriousness, Danni and I could not be more excited. Getting a boy and a girl back to back is such a huge blessing. Christian
