NEVER count on Trump to do the right thing.
The idea that Dementia Don will deploy U.S. military resources to aid Iran is hopeful at best. I believe that maneuvering forces in the area is only posturing, designed to serve Trump's covert agenda of distracting from his failed domestic policies and personal scandals—such as the Epstein Files. Trump is as corrupt as he is souless. He shows open contempt for NATO. He has no love for the Iranian people.

@Dani Spivak Trump kept the Afghanistan War going for 4 years during his first term. Didn't bother him then. I knew from Day 1 that we weren't going to bring lasting democracy to a theocratic country. A month after we were gone it was like we were never there at all. Vietnam all over again. It was a waste of our time, blood, and treasure. Trump is not America, he is an aberration. The USA is NOT the world's policeman. If you want a better government then you should fight for it yourself. That's what we did 250 years ago.
