When I didn’t fully recover from all the strain and effort, my body is sore AF, my recovery score is in red alert and all the other signs I should be reading say no….
Even If You've Never Posted, Drop One Word Below
I know a lot of you read but don't post, and that's totally fine. But I want to hear from you too. No pressure, no paragraphs, nothing fancy. Just drop one word that describes your training right now. Sore. Motivated. Tired. Hooked. Rebuilding. Whatever it is. One word. That's it. I'll go first: Recovering.

What's Your Focus Right Now?

Me vs One year ago. A major shift in training volume. Perhaps a more targeted Master Athlete version is developing. More awareness on what real recovery means. It provides a more astute awareness when to maximize intensity and when to dial it back.
Long Weekends Tell The Truth
Long weekends are interesting. Our routines change. Schedules change. Travel happens. Family stuff comes up. It's easy to stay focused when life is predictable. The real question is what happens when it isn't. Do your priorities disappear for a few days? Do they adapt? Or do they stay intact? I'm not talking about being perfect. I'm talking about staying connected to what's important to you, even when life gets a little less structured. What's one thing you've stayed consistent with this long weekend?

I tried “book ending” this past long weekend. Non negotiable commit to training on Friday and Tuesday. It allowed me some downtime to spend with family, and the flexibility to just enjoy the extra day off!
