I felt a deep slow down yesterday, but it seems back up and running fine this morning.

For sure. I’ve started using Gemini models a lot lately given the free tier and huge context window.
Is it necessary to learn?šŸ¤”
When you think of building AI app or webapp I think it is necessary to learn Data Science, AI/NLP/LLM etc. Because if you don't know how things works what's things behind it how data works then how one can make an AI app . I think you must have deep and creative thinking to make such system that actually works well. But there are also no-code tools. Building just using AI tools is just hype today. How is that?

Without knowing the basics behind the data structures and at least one programming language IMHO the vibe coders and no-code users will be lost when something breaks or they need to debug…essentially they will find it was better to learn it from the beginning.
How to solve any problem
I learnt something really important. most of the time, we do not know how to solve the problem at our hands due to lack of definition of the problem. so you need first to define the problem , then your brain will come up with solutions. the reason behind it is that our brain is accustomed to associate words with images so when you define the problem in words , you will have many related images and some of them will be the solution as you all know the images get translated into ideas. the ideas are the solution.

Isn’t this a classic example of how to use an LLM? Define what you are stuck on and ask the LLM to analyze three to five problems that could be the root cause of why you are stuck? It’s the absolute benefit of vectorization. The LLM will draw on things that fall into a close proximity to the attributes caused by your blockage…

@Dr. Mohamed Samy I totally get that. I was taking that observation a step further with my comment, meaning: We should keep that in mind when designing our AI functions or apps because sometimes we don’t ā€œwant an answerā€ because it’s not a binary question, but rather a response that triggers thought.
Virtualization
Is anyone else setting up their own lab to code outside of 127.0.0.1? I have setup a Proxmox server running some old hardware I7-6700 32 GB ram and a 5070TI to run N8N, Postgresql, and OpenWebUI.

Yes. I have set up a VPS with n8n, postgresql, pgadmin, mongodb, mongodbadmin, traefik (reverse proxy). All are docker containers. This allows me to create multiple python apps or FastAPIs, NextJS apps (also in separate docker containers) using all these services and to test webhooks etc. All for $6/month. Cheap lab!
