I haven't said anything about our business in here for the reason that I want to make sure this community stays flowing with great conversations and information all related to chickens. That is the ultimate goal for this community and I've seen some amazing conversations, helpful posts and tons of great stuff so far! But I would be holding back if I didn't tell you about the business we run here that is right up the alley of most of you chicken tenders. As some of you know, we run a brand called The Chicken Bawks. It's a monthly tshirt subscription and other chicken apparel focused solely on the love of chickens. I started at the end of Jan setting eggs in the GQF 1500 incubator - first batch of eggs are in lockdown in the 1550 Hatcher. Anyone else hatching eggs from their own flocks? I hatch with the intention of improving breed quality. This year I am more focused on growing out all my chicks, so I can sell POL (Point of Lays) in 6-8 months for more money ($50-80 per Pure Bred POL Hen).

I bought some lemon balm seed today to plant around my coop. Does anyone have experience with this plant around the coop? I am hoping to deter rodents. I couldn’t find mint on the seed rack.
