Question
How did you first hear about Wing Chun? Give your answer in the comments below. Personally, I had a friend in high school that had been doing Wing Chun for about a year and he was always talking about it. I was interested in Martial Arts already and wanted to have some kind of formal training, so decided to try out Wing Chun. It also happened to be the ONLY martial art school in the city I lived in.

I first learned about Wing Chun from the Ip Man movies when I was 18 but I had been interested in kung fu since I was ten years old. Wing Chun ended up being the style of kung fu I decided to stick with ultimately because I felt like it was one of the best if not the best styles of Kung Fu. I first remember "Kung Fu" from the Karate Kid 2010 (they should have just called it the Kung Fu kid lol). The more I watched movies and scenes when I was in middle and high school the more I wanted to learn. The One, Jackie Chans Drunken Master, Enter the Dragon, a lot of these movies I watched a lot as an obsession when I was in high school.
