Better late than never…!
Was looking through my holiday photos and realized I didn’t share a realized bucket list item that closed out a fabulous 2025! Hubs & I spent Christmas in Maui and had an absolute blast! We cooked in mostly & only ate out 3 meals, including an amazing spread at Mama’s Fish House, IYKYK! Went on a sunset whale cruise & saw many whales. Caught a sunset atop a 10k foot volcano, drove the road back from Hana, visited Lahaina & saw much rebuilding. Being winter there were swells from the north, perfect for watching surfers. And the main event! I got to SUP in the ocean TWICE! At Waimea. A turtle swam next to us and it was as challenging & fun as I’d hoped! I cannot wait to do it again! Grateful for a lifestyle tha includes movement, good nutrition & a confident mindset. Much gained from this group! 🩵 Might have to get my wet suit out and try out my new board on the good ole Rogue!

I’ve been acing my whole food plan! This week aim focusing on strength & getting back to my steps.
75 Hard - Day 8 & 9
Day 8 - knocked my outdoor workout early even when I had the day off from work. Knew I just wanted/needed to get it over with. Day 9 - tonight was the first time I had to fight through the urge to just not do my outdoor workout. Why tonight made no sense considering it was the warmest it’s been in a few days. Got it done though! Cross your fingers for me the air temp isn’t as cold as they’re predicting for Friday and Saturday. I’m talking they’re thinking we could break record low air temp. 🥶

Better than I thought….
The last 3 months of 2025 were hard for me….honestly, the hardest 3 months I’ve ever experienced. I fell back into some unhealthy habits, gained back some poundage I had thought I would never see again, and cried more tears than I thought I had in me (those mofos came every day). For some reason the first 9 months were really a blur and I had forgotten all of the healthy sweaty habits I had created..all of the boxes I had checked off. Got a reminder from Training Peaks to look at the accomplishments in training before the data was gone. So, I checked it out and I was pleasantly surprised. As our fearless leader said to me the other day “look at all of the things you accomplished”…maybe she was right (shhhhhhhhh…don’t mention that to her). It’s always easier to beat yourself up when you’re feeling like you didn’t do your best. But I guess I did the best I had with what I was given. I’m so grateful to be out of the fog and moving in a direction that will produce all of the things..and hopefully get a better grasp on why returning to old ways that don’t serve me has been my way in the past. But hopefully I’ll learn to treat myself with more grace and the good sweaty days will continue to outnumber the ways of the past. So thankful for this community and especially Team 4 and my RIDE OR DIE SISTER Amy.👯‍♀️👯‍♀️👯‍♀️👯‍♀️👯‍♀️
