Share whatever you’re working on or proud of right now. This community is full of creators, authors, and entrepreneurs, and sometimes the best thing we can do is help each other get a little more visibility. 💡 IDEAS ON WHAT YOU COULD SHARE: • Yourself and what you do • Your Skool community • A book you're writing or recently published • A project you're building • A shoutout to another member • A video, post, or resource • Affiliate links (yes, those are allowed) The goal is simple: help our members get seen. Just one request so this stays valuable for everyone. 👉 1 RULE: If you share something, please also leave a thoughtful or helpful comment on someone else’s post. Support goes both ways, and when we all participate, the whole community benefits. Now let’s see what everyone is building 👇

I’m using YouTube channel After Midnight with Daktari Knight that’s a 70’s late night call in radio show with noir feeling to have it being sponsored by Amazon author (me) to give it authenticity and drive people to my books. https://pin.it/3MC1doopH

@Krista Brea not yet, but my research suggests it is a format Youtube likes and I need about 100 episodes to get traction I have streamlined the workflow to do an episode an hour and I will try and do two episodes per day now, after a break from everything. I am really starting up Pinterest and posting the Pins that refer back to the channel and I think my Youtube screen for the show screams Amazon Author as sponsor.
Tips on Cover Design for Paperback Format
Hi, as I have 20+ books on Amazon all Kindle Unlimited, I want to get all of them on Kindle as Paperbacks where I currently only have 5 or so as Paperbacks. My drawback is formatting to upload, I do not want to pay for a person to do this and would love to know any templates we can just upload our graphic and text to so it is as easy as uploading a Kindle cover? TIA

Congratulations and you are in the right spot to learn on the magic of self publishing, all the best.
‼️ NEW KDP RULES ROLLED OUT
🚨 BIG UPDATE 🚨 Amazon just rolled out a new policy change for KDP… and this one is kind of wild 😳 Starting immediately, outsourcing is no longer allowed. That means: - You have to write your own manuscript - No AI tools - No ghostwriters Everything must be 100% written by YOU moving forward. Welp… looks like I’m finally going to have to sit down and start writing all my own books 😅 … .. .. … April Fools 😂 But real talk—this is exactly why learning how to build systems around your publishing (including outsourcing) is such a game-changer. It’s how you scale without burning yourself out.

I was about to throw my hard drive into the ocean to remove all evidence of using AI 😆😂
I Am Back & Scene Tracker Tip
Been quiet a while on Visa run to renew Vietnam Visa and other priorities. Anyhow here is a great hack I have created in GPT and as I progress my book I get GPT to cross check for my Google Sheets workbook. I hope this helps. One of the biggest breakthroughs in getting Digital Alcatraz back on track wasn’t writing more… It was organising the story properly. I built a simple but powerful Google Sheets structure to manage the entire book — scenes, pacing, tension, and character progression — all in one place. Here’s how it works: Core Columns I Use: - ACT / DAY → Keeps the timeline tight (critical for high-tension stories) - SCENE # / TITLE → Quick reference and easy navigation - LOCATION → Ensures continuity and avoids logical gaps - POV (Point of View) → Tracks narrative consistency - PURPOSE → Why the scene exists (this stops filler instantly) - OUTCOME → What changes by the end of the scene - TENSION LEVEL → Helps control pacing across the book - KEY EVENT / BEAT → The memorable moment in the scene - CHARACTERS INVOLVED → Avoids character drift or disappearance - NOTES / FIX LATER → Keeps writing flow uninterrupted Why This Works It turns your book into something you can see — not just feel. You instantly spot: - Slow sections - Missing tension - Repetitive scenes - Weak transitions It also makes it incredibly easy to: - Write fast - Edit cleanly - Stay consistent across 100,000+ words How You Can Use This (Any Genre) This isn’t just for cybercrime or thrillers. You can tailor it easily: - Romance → Add columns like Emotional Shift, Relationship Progression - Fantasy → Track World-Building Elements, Magic Rules, Lore Introduced - Crime/Thriller → Add Clues, Red Herrings, Investigation Progress - Memoir → Use Reflection, Lesson, Emotional State - Self-Help → Structure by Core Idea, Example, Takeaway Simple Rule That Changed Everything 👉 Every scene must have a clear purpose + outcome If it doesn’t… it doesn’t belong.
