The Most Telling Sign You're Actually Growing!!
Hello family โจ Hope your week is going great. Here's something to sit with this Wednesday evening, morning, afternoon... or it might even be Thursday morning for you already depending on where you are. The message I have for you today is that the most obvious and most telling sign that you're actually growing and developing is when you begin to see yourself clearly. What does that mean? This means that you become aware of your wounds. You become aware of your reactions. Your motivations. But the biggest one is this... your impact on others. When you don't become aware of your wounds, they sit in the dark. And they become projections that you end up projecting onto people. They are like an unconscious programmes you are running on and end up impacting how you navigate life, how you interpret situations, how you interact within your relationships without you even realizing it. You might say you're growing. That you're learning. That you're developing yourself. But if you're not looking at the impact of the way you're interacting with the world and people around you, then there's a gap in your self-awareness. This requires deep self reflection. And in regards to people, it requires you to literally put yourself in their shoes in order to see things from their perspective. This will help with raising your awareness levels. This is how real empathy works. And this is where true understanding comes from. You begin to learn why people are the way they are. And more deeply, more importantly, you learn why you are the way you are. Where your habits and behaviors stem from. How you ended up where you are. Why things are the way they are. You can never be a growing individual if you refuse or are unable to see the ways you're impacting the world around you. That takes a high degree of accountability. And it doesn't only take accountability. It takes humility. To become aware that you may be impacting people negatively. That you may be projecting your pain and your wounds onto others.
