The real reason for your knee pain…
Do you constantly deal with knee pain after hoops? Believe it or not, your knees likely aren’t the issue. This might seem unrealistic but let me explain… Many times our knees absorb force that another body part is responsible for. Here are several examples: 1. Weak feet. They are first to touch the floor, and a key to athleticism. But when the arches collapse from shoes and overuse, the knees must absorb more force. 2. Poorly functioning hips. The hip flexors in the front are often COOKED from a lack of strength training. Lots of sitting will also make them tight. And another glute muscle called the glute medius is in charge of lateral movements. Often ignored in training plans, it can cause the knees to absorb more force when moving laterally. So try strengthening these muscles to see some results! Video: https://youtube.com/shorts/FSLfdm0gl4U?si=6SUp0gmbFWMo_1eB
